This decision is likely to provoke democratic thinking in students...by doing this the present unnatural political coalition is of the view to nurture a new breed of politicians….I wonder how many student leader cum politicians are there in the parliament.
No one is going to get supplies in civil department of uet from now on...

Well I think as long as SHEHBAZ SHARIF is going to be the CM of PUNJAB then uet will not be affected by this menace. Back in 98 when I joined uet for 99 session, SHEHBAZ really changed UET culture. Student politics was eradicated from campus as well as hostels. This happened when JAMIAT attacked our VC. A cleanup operation was carried out and all politicians were expelled from uet.
Lets discuss what the present generation of uetians expect out of these unions
They think that the union; student colored will decide for them whether to have 4 or 5 lectures a day..........I think unions wont b interested in studies altogether..........
My cousin passed out from uet last year. He told me that things are going so weird in uet that a time may come when the BADMASHs of a secondary school manage to beat a uetian. Moreover, uetians have developed a habit to call the security guards, Sir. Things are pathetic that’s for sure. Gone are the days when rickshaw wallas were reluctant to pass by uet. A change is imminent to raise self esteem of the students. Now the question arises whether the feeble student only unions are able to stir things up. My advice to all is to consider the examples/models of MAO College and PU IER department before even thinking of joining any politicized ones.
Some students are of the view that Unions will be kind enough to solve their academic problems. Bhai logo union ka kam paper recheck kerwana nahin hai, and no union will do that for you. Unions would surely help some students to get good marks in VIVAs and Papers. Now who will be those students? Let me guess, President of the Union, Vice President of the Union, General Secretary of the Union, someone with 5000Rs for Viva and 25000Rs for Paper. Moreover, who will then be controlling the menace of these Unions if they become uncontrollable, which is going to occur sooner or later.
Uetians are quite immature to have student unions. All of the academic problems faced by a student can be solved by a Class Representative. I think that all they need is to study a bit harder if they think that getting low grades will be the end of their world. Life is forgiving especially the period you spend in uet. Don’t waste your time in studies especially if you are already getting bad results. I am employed for the last 4 yrs. when i look back on my life studies look to be the easiest things to do. So don't be worried with those supplys.
My advice to you all is to prepare at least one more question instead of only three to create a cushion for such bad lucks. During my stay in uet I figured it out that if you truly desire a supply, whole of this world conspires to get you the desired. It happens when things go wrong massively.
Uetians can do wonders only if they are willing to do so. I have been a uetian in the recent past and iI understand that we are a bit allergic from our teachers. But believe me teachers in UET are really good and enjoy authority in Pakistan's industry. They can even guide you to a good career. So, my advice to you all is to have good relationships with teachers. That may also work if there are some UNIONS around which surely are not going to pay heed to the voice of enormous thetas.
Moreover, try to establish some good relationships with your teachers. Those are UETIANS from the bottom of their hearts. If you can't do hard work, then at least try to establish good working relations with your teachers. Just remember, good relations count. This world is a place reserved for people who CAN DO.
My brother is in FAST. You must have heard of SOFTEC which is a country level event. That event is totally organized by students. They manage sponsorships and all related expenditures. Expenditures include charges for mobile calls made to the industry and bills from petrol pumps for fueling their conveyance. There is no politicized student UNION in FAST.
Let me tell you some bitter truth. Students, especially uetians these days are preoccupied to such an extent that they won't participate in dirty politics.
